We Are Family.....I've Got All My Cousins With Me!

Well, some of them anyway. We went to Tia Yvonne's house after church. Cameron let it be known he was much happier without clothes. He sat very comfortably on the couch watching Kristen, Kaitlen, Brandon and Gracie run around.

I think Cameron knew what we were doing as we put different hats on him. He just laughed and laughed.

This is picture of Cameron's friend Blake. They are hanging out playing at Tally's. We truly were so fortunate to find Tally. Cameron LOVES her and Maria so much. A lot of the time when I pick him up, Cameron just turns from me and hugs Tally. As much as it breaks my heart, it also makes me so happy knowing he loves her so. Thank you Tally, for loving him as if he were your own!
This is my favorite picture from today. Doesn't he look like such a little grown up? Too cute, he just sat back in his stroller taking in the sun. Where is my baby? Growing up...Cameron's favorite new thing to do is dance. When we tell him to dance, he starts shaking his little head and body. It is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I didn't think it was amusing as he was dancing during church service. Ok, I didn't have a problem with it. I just took his dancing as he was enjoying the service! Oh and he learned how to drink water from a straw today. Go baby!

Weekend Fun!

We had a wonderful weekend. Yaya, Yvonne, Kristen, Kaitlen & Brandon came over for a visit. Cameron was in heaven as my sisters held him for hours on end. Of course, I knew there would be consequences - he was very demanding today! We walked over to the lake to feed the ducks , get a little exercise AND hoped Cameron would take nap. It was such a beautiful day.

We discovered that his 4th tooth is about to break through the gum and his 5th tooth is also making its up way. He's definitely getting a lot of teeth very quickly and he's having a much harder time than Gracie did. I try not to compare the kids as I know each child is different. But when you have had an easy baby and your second is not so easy. Bless his little heart, I hope not all his teeth cause him this much grief.

Cameron LOVES to sit in Gracie's room, I'm not sure what it is. I decided to have a little fun with him.

Cameron's first sink bath! We decided to take the easy route Saturday night and give Cameron a sink bath. What a mess! Cameron splashed and splashed and splashed. He truly enjoyed bathtime last night.

What a grown up little boy!

Looks like a girl? I hope NOT. I found this yellow hat that Maudie had bought for Cameron on their cruise this past summer. I thought he looked adorable, however, I don't think Kenny quite agreed 100%. Oh well...

More Teeth!

Cameron now has 3 teeth. Two at the bottom and one on top! We have started giving him more table food to try. His favorites by far-bananas, yogurt & bread with cream cheese. He had macaroni w/cheese last night but didn't seem to fond of it. I hope he's not like Gracie - she doesn't eat ANY cheese.

Things lately have been extremely busy. I'm amazed the month of January is almost over. The days are just flying by. The kids haven't been feeling well this past week so it's been a stressful week. We did find some time where both kids were smiling...

Enjoying time together!

Kenny has began calling Cameron "Happy Gilmore". He is always smiling (for the most part anyway). His two top teeth are about to break through the gum so the drool is unbelievable.

Such a big boy. He is beginning to enjoy playing with his toys much more.

Happy 8 Months!

Cameron is 8 months old today. It's hard to believe sometimes. 4 more months and he will be 1. Happy 8 months sweet little boy!

Catching Up!

It's been a while since we've updated our blog. We keep thinking things are going to slow down, but it seems the days are just going by faster. Work is busier than ever for both Kenny & I, before we know it, January will be long gone! I can't believe Gracie will be 5 this year and Cameron will be 1. Where does the time go?

Cameron will be 8 months on Sunday! He's growing up so fast. This past weekend, after my run, I was having some yogurt. Cameron was sitting in his high chair watching my every bite. I decided to let him have a taste - yup, he LOVED it. He ate all of it. So, he's now eating yogurt and oatmeal for breakfast. He's also having banana and peach puffs as a snack. He has been really excited about the new foods and water bottles.

Cameron was crying while in his play pen (surprise-surprise-surprise) so Gracie decided to console him by getting in the play pen with him. She has become so attentive and nurturing towards him.

After our family walk on Sunday, we took the kids outside while I sat in the hot tub - yup, that's me back there. Cameron watched as Gracie fished! We had a very nice weekend. (Thanks Tia Yvonne, Kristen, Kaitlen & Brandon for babysitting. We really enjoyed our date night).

Our little princess is not so little anymore.

Cameron has become very attached lately. If he doesn't see me, he's not a happy camper. I think it's great he loves his mommy so much, however, not easy to get anything accomplished. Kenny put him in his bumbo chair as I loaded the dishwasher. He was very content.
