Thank Goodness for Insurance!

Gracie kept us up late last night SCREAMING about the pain in her ear. Cameron & I were at gymnastics this morning when I received a call from my husband telling me I needed to come home quickly. He wouldn't say much other than get home. Worried out of my mind (after my sister's stroke week before last) I try to drive home calmly. Kenny is laying on the couch not looking like himself. He told me he was really dizzy and was throwing up. After a few hours of saying he wasn't going to the dr. we all head out to the dr. He has two middle ear infections. Instead of driving to the Pediatric Clinic, I sign Gracie in. She too has two ear infections. She just finished 10 days of antiobiotics for her bronchitis. Anyway, on we go to Walgreens. We pick up 11 prescriptions. Kenny had 3, Gracie had 4, I had 2 and Cameron had 2. Can you believe that? It was well over $100 but I am certain without insurance it would have cost so much more.

Happy Valentines everyone! The Muellers are hoping to get some sleep tonight.

Another Birthday Party

After arriving home around 10 or 11 p.m. (I was too tired) from my sister's birthday, I tucked all 3 kids into bed. (My nephew Brandon came along for the weekened). We woke up fairly early Saturday morning and got ready for another birthday party. We drove out to Lucas, TX for Valentina's 5th Birthday Party. Valentina is Ms. Kelly's daughter (Cameron's teacher). The kids had such a wonderful time. They rode horses, got buggy rides, face painting and found DIRT. Yup, Brandon & Cameron were literally covered in dirt. We got home around 8 p.m. that night. I had to bathe them even though the pleaded I just give them a wipey bath. The water was dirty!

Of course, Brandon chose to ride the BIG horse. He said, "this place is like Van Horn".
Cameron and his beloved Ms. Kelly

Believe it or not, but Cameron did not want to go near the horses. This is the closest I was able to get him. He enjoyed the buggy ride.
Gracie cracks me up alot. She says the funniest things. Perfect example. They were running around and found these stumps by the pond so they decided to relax. Gracie looks up at me and says "mom, we're stumped-get it". Amazing little girl!

Catchin' Up

So many things have been going on lately, I'm not sure where to begin. Last week, my 2nd eldest sister, Ysela, turned 40! We all got together at a restaurant last Friday to surprise her (I think she had a feeling something was going on). We all had such fun! I love my family. I cherish each moment I have with them. Hope you had a wonderful birthday sister.

I know, it's not a very nice thing to write on one's cake, we just couldn't resist.
Cameron so enjoyed his cupcake. Or should I say, the "frosting".
Doesn't he look cute?
My little sister Yaya making us laugh. You can tell from this picture, we're laughing so hard she is in tears.
